The Cranbourne Dandenong Pistol Club Inc. (C.D.P.C.I.), formerly Dandenong Pistol Club Inc. is an incorporated body and has been in existence since 1956. It is one of the oldest pistol clubs in Victoria and was formed so that a team could be fielded in the Melbourne Olympic Games. Our club is run by a group of hardworking volunteers that ensure that the club runs efficiently and promotes a safe, friendly and sociable environment.
The purpose of CDPC is:
- To promote knowledge and skill in the art of pistol shooting
- To promote competitive pistol shooting amongst its members
- To enter into any contracts, agreements or arrangements to further the above purposes
The range is approved to operate by Victoria Police. Our club consists of three approved ranges that can be used for rim fire, air and centre fire pistols and .22 calibre rifles.
CDPC runs competitions on a weekly basis for three disciplines; IPSC (Practical Shooting), ISSF (Olympic Disciplines) and Single Action “Cowboy” shooting. Refer to ‘Disciplines’ section for more information.
Persons interested in joining the club are encouraged to make contact with the Club Secretary by phone or e-mail.
Our club is based in a sports precinct in Cranbourne, only a few minutes drive from the Cranbourne Shopping district.
